What happens
Dubai Miracle Garden opened in 2013 on the desert edge of the city. It covers about 72,000 square metres and is planted with many millions of flowers, trained over arches, houses, giant figures and a full-size airliner. The plants cannot survive the Gulf summer, so the garden closes around May and is replanted to a new design. The 2026 to 2027 season, its fifteenth, opens on 8 October and runs into late spring. Go in the late afternoon, when it is cooler.
