Corolla
All the petals of one flower, taken together.
Corolla is the collective word for a flower's petals. The petals may be separate, as in a buttercup or a rose, or joined into a tube, bell or trumpet, as in a morning glory, a foxglove or a jasmine. The shape of the corolla often tells you who the pollinator is. A long narrow tube suits a moth or a hummingbird. A wide flat dish suits beetles and flies. A lipped flower, like a snapdragon, gives a bee a place to land.
