Bunch
A fixed number of stems of one kind, tied together as the standard unit of wholesale sale.
Growers pack flowers in bunches of a set number, usually of one variety, colour and length. The number depends on the flower and the country. Tens, twenties and twenty-fives are common counts for roses and tulips, while filler and foliage are often bunched by weight. Bunches are sleeved in paper or plastic to protect the heads. A florist buys by the bunch or the box and then breaks them up to make mixed bouquets.
